It is very important for a society to have fire safety devices such as fire extinguishers and sprinklers inside your homes. Fire safety equipment should also be installed in common areas on all floors of the building and residents should know how to use them. Fire safety drills should be conducted regularly to know how prepared the society is in case a fire breaks out. Guidelines regarding fire safety - such as residents should not use lifts or switch on electric appliances in case of fire - should be put up in various places.
